Friday, July 2

Stars & Guitars – Reunited | Fri., July 2 | 5:30 p.m. | Boone Hall Plantation, 1235 Long Point Rd., Mt. Pleasant | $59+ | A Lowcountry summer tradition of country music concerts featuring Dustin Lynch, Travis Denning, Tenille Arts, and Taylor Castro. 

Red, White, Bluegrass & Boot, Scoot, Boogie | Fri., July 2 | 6-8 p.m. | The Great Lawn, 100 Greeting House Rd., Summerville | Free | A party with live music from The Lowhills + a performance by the Boot Boogie Babes. 

Saturday, July 3

Celebrate Fourth at Firefly with Lauren Hall | Sat., July 3 | 12-6 p.m. | Firefly Distillery, 4201 Spruill Ave., North Charleston | This second annual event held at the new Park Circle distillery will feature live music, Firefly cocktails + tastings, and food trucks — open to all ages. 

Holy Rolly at Cane Bay 4th of July Fest | Sat., July 3 | 5-9 p.m. | 207 Buttercup Ln., Summerville | Free | We scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream + the Fourth of July festivities.

Outdoors with Jesus | Sat., July 3 | 5-9 p.m. | Riverfront Park, 1061 Everglades Ave., North Charleston | $30+ | Celebrate the 4th ofJuly with Grammy award winning artist, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard — lawn chairs permitted. 

Carnes Crossroads Summer Barn Jam Concert Series | Sat., July 3 | 4-7 p.m. | Carnes Crossroads, 513 Wodin Pl., Summerville | Free | Summer is here + so are the vibes — enjoy live music from East Coast Party Band and food from local food trucks. 

Oh Yah BBQ | Sat., July 3 | 1-8 p.m. | Freehouse Brewery, 2895 Pringle St., North Charleston | Free | Start the holiday weekend right with barbecue, live music by Greg Winkler + drinks. 

Moncks Corner Fourth of July | Sat. July 3 | 9 p.m. | Moncks Corner Regional Recreation Complex, 418 E. Main St. | Free | View fireworks from your vehicles or take out the blankets + lawn chairs to enjoy the festivities.

Sunday, July 4

Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence | Sun. July 4 | 9 a.m. | Old Exchange Building, 122 E Bay St. | Free | This public reading will take place in the same spot the declaration was read to citizens in 1776. 

Edmund’s Oast Restaurant July 4th Ice Cream Social | Edmund’s Oast, 1081 Morrison Dr. | Sun. July 4 | 2-5 p.m. | Entrance is free | Indulge in a selection of frozen treats  like Italian ice, ice cream floats, + ice cream sandwiches — no reservations needed. 

4th of July at Riverfront Park | Sun., July 4 | 7-10 p.m. | Riverfront Park, 1001 Everglades Dr., North Charleston | Free | The largest fireworks show in the Lowcountry — bring lawn chairs, blankets, water, and snacks. 

Patriots Point Fireworks Blast | Sun., July 4 | 6-10 p.m. | Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, 40 Patriots Point Rd., Mt. Pleasant | $20 parking fee | There will be local food trucks and guests are invited to bring folding chairs + picnic blankets.

2021 Fireworks and Freedom Fest | Sun., July 4 | 5:30-9:30 p.m. | Gahagan Park, 184 W. Boundary St., Summerville | Free | Live music from the 17 South Band + great food — attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and small coolers. 

Fabulous Fourth in the Creek | Sun., July 4 | 6:30-9:30 p.m. | Goose Creek Municipal Center, 519 North Goose Creek Blvd., Goose Creek | Free | The Creek is welcoming everyone to enjoy  music from local cover band Calhoun’s Calling, food + family fun.

Litt on The 4th | Sun., July 4 | 4-9 p.m. | Founders Hall, 1500 Old Towne Rd. | $15+ | Hookahs, a cash bar, and food vendors will be available.
